Key Scripture: Ephesians 2:1-10

  1. You are created for the Master’s purpose.
  2. You have everything you need to accomplish God’s purpose.
  3. God will use everything in your life to accomplish his purpose.

Discussion Questions:

Read Ephesians 2:1-10. This passage tells us that without Christ, there’s something wrong with us; but with Christ, we are God’s masterpiece.

• In what ways do you feel least like God’s masterpiece?

• What is does it mean to you to be God’s masterpiece?

• How could knowing that you are God’s masterpiece influence your life?

• What are the things that keep you from believing you are God’s masterpiece?

Read Psalm 139:13-16, 2 Peter 1:3, Romans 8:28. These verses describe what it means to be God’s masterpiece.

• Based upon what Psalm 139:13-16 says, how should we view ourselves and God?

• How has God equipped you to carry out his purposes?

What is one thing that God is calling you to do today? What next step do you need to take in carrying out that purpose?

• What areas of life do you need God to remake into his masterpiece? What steps do you need to take to allow God to remake you?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

• Heavenly Father, thank you for creating me to be your masterpiece and for equipping me with unique spiritual gifts and talents so that I can carry out your purpose. Lord, show me what you want me to accomplish and use me for the sake of your kingdom.
