Next Steps: Commit to a step and live it out this week.

One of the most powerful supernatural weapons in your arsenal is God’s Word. Reading the Bible can encourage you and replace your negative thoughts with positive and conquering ones. Take time this week to read the following verses about being an overcomer and let God’s strength come through and encourage you: 1 John 4:4, 1 John 5:4-5, Matthew 11:28, Psalm 44:6-8, Luke 10:19, 1 Corinthians 15:57, Ephesians 6:10-17, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, 1 Peter 5:8-10 and Revelation 3:21.

• All of us are facing battles in our lives, but some of us are facing some battles that seem almost unwinnable such as addictions, financial problems or marital problems. Don’t face your battle alone. Seek help this week by sharing your battle with a friend in your Life Group, a parent, a pastor, mentor, teacher or anyone that you look up to for guidance. Talk it over with them and allow them to assist you in getting the help you need to overcome your battle.
