Guard and Garner

Key Scriptures: Proverbs 4:20-23

Proverbs 4:20-23, My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Matthew 16:21-23, From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. I am so valuable that Jesus came to rescue me

No harm has been done to me that can’t be overcome by the love God has for me

There is sin on my record, but my record has been washed clean by his blood

If God says I can—I can…what God says I have—I have

I am on an essential assignment from God

I am not defined by my best or my worst—I am a loved son or daughter of the most-high God

God is greater than my circumstance
