Families Matter to Us

Our youth ministries include children and students ages 0-18, preschool through high school. In all these ministries, we have the same mission: to bring glory to God by making disciples. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process.

PCN Kids

Our goal is to inspire, encourage, and equip you as a parent to be that spiritual leader in your child’s life, knowing if we work together that bond will be even greater. We hope you enjoy our services knowing your child is in a safe environment with qualified, consistent, and background-checked small group leaders and volunteers.

Every Sunday at PCN, all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We would love to see you and your family visit PCN Kids this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

We provide 3 unique and age-appropriate environments for your little ones:

In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Bible and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what he has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

In our Elementary ministry, we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching our kids about the nature and character of God—that he is wise, generous, loving and good. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Check-In

Your child's safety is a top priority at PCN. If it is your family’s first visit, we will ask you to join us at the Check-In desk where we can meet your family, have you fill-in a brief form, check your child into our safety system, and lead them to their age-appropriate room. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and then guide you to the adult worship center.

Family Discipleship

God calls the family to play a vital role in discipling the next generation. How this is accomplished varies from family to family and is as unique as the DNA of each home. Family discipleship isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it isn’t easy—even the most intentional of Christian parents may find themselves at a loss as to how to begin.

PCN wants to come alongside parents to help them craft their own approach to family discipleship. Though each family is unique, we believe that vibrant family discipleship can take shape around three key elements: time, moments and milestones.

Time

Create family discipleship time

Parents build intentional time into the rhythm of family life for the purpose of thinking about, talking about and living out the gospel. Parents who leverage time prioritize gathering their family in the home regularly—daily or weekly—to read Scripture or pray, to learn about a missionary and to sing praise songs together. Depending on the ages of the children, this regularly occurring time might vary in what it emphasizes and accomplishes.

Moments

Capture family discipleship moments

Parents capture and leverage opportunities in the course of everyday life for the purpose of gospel-centered conversations. Parents who leverage moments might use a good grade on a test to talk about how God gives us gifts to be used to build His kingdom. They might use an argument between siblings as a chance to talk about mutual submission to one another out of love. Parents who make use of moments look for ways to connect everyday ups and downs to gospel truths.

Milestones

Recognize and remember family discipleship milestones

Parents mark and make occasions to celebrate and commemorate significant spiritual milestones of God’s work in the life of the family and child. Parents who leverage milestones might mark the one-year anniversary since a child’s broken arm was healed by going out for ice cream to celebrate God’s faithfulness. They might plan a special day around talking about sex and sexuality. They might plant a tree to remember a grandparent who modeled God’s love to them.

Parents who leverage milestones look for ways to use significant birthdays, trips or anniversaries to reinforce the gospel to their family. This might be occasions we make and create, like an orchestrated family rite of passage ceremony. On the other hand, it could be occasions we mark, like a yearly remembrance of a birth or death that was significant to the family.

Moving forward, PCN Kids will be creating resources that offer tools, suggestions and ideas to help parents make the most of these three elements. We hope these resources will help parents think intentionally about the “how” of family discipleship, and that families of all shapes and sizes—single parent, blended, large and small—will be able to implement time, moments and milestones in ways that strengthen homes and instill the gospel in the next generation.

Catalyst Student Ministries

Our mission is to inspire our students to fall in love with Jesus, to become his people, and to bring new creation into the world. We engage students with Christ by forming an intergenerational discipleship community, by engaging in the practices of spiritual formation, by engaging in service of others and our community, and by engaging deeply with God and the world with our minds.

Club 67

6th & 7th Grade

Club 67 is specifically designed to help 6th and 7th graders connect with other students and to grow as authentic followers of Jesus! Our team of amazing adult leaders are committed to teach and encourage our Junior High students and love walking alongside them to provide fun, direction, love and support to each student as they learn what it means to be a teenager who follows Jesus.

High School

8th - 12th Grades

Our Senior High student ministry is dedicated to providing a place for students (8th-12th grade) to connect with God, each other, and to a group of dedicated adult leaders who are committed to seeing students grow closer to Christ.

Meeting Times:
Sunday Morning 9:30a-10:30a
Join us for Bible study and fellowship

Sunday evening 5:30p-8:00p
Join us for an evening of games and activities, and a time of worship through song, teaching, and small group time.

Every Sunday night following our large group gathering, students will break into age specific small groups to continue the conversations. During this time, adult leaders are able to engage and connect with students on a more personal level, enabling students to go deeper in their relationships with one another and with Christ.
